I saw on USSVI.org Eternal Patrol that Ernest W. Morgan an EN on Von Steuben died on 2/25 in North Carolina. That's all the information I have.

I received the following from Tim France: I noticed on the Reunion Web page that Steve Hyman, Assistant Weapons Officer 1983-1985 is not listed on the Memorial List. He was a Lieutenant when he served on the Von S. The information is on the Obituaries Page.

The USSVI Eternal Partol list added Earle C. Thurlow III an ENFN plankowner Gold. The Obituary is on the Obituaries page.

Going through the Eternal Patrol list for USS Von Steuben on USSVI.ORG I found the following members who have passed recently: Robert A. LaGassa, Thomas "Jeff" Branch, Jr., Norman Kuzel, Gary Shepherd, Rorbert Orndorf, and Clarence Wreath. They will be places on the Memorial List and Obituaries will be posted.

E-mail reminders about the reunion have gone out to everyone with a registered e-mail address. If you didn't get one then I don't have your e-mail.

I saw in the Post and Courier than Don Meacham ETC on Gold from 1973 to 1979 died August 31. I will place his Obit on the page.

I received an obituary for James Allen Huebner fom the USS Von Steuben (SSBN 632) Alumni page. I have no other information such as Rate, years aboard and crew. If anyone can help please send to rwise@sc.rr.com .

I received an obituary for James Edward Kennedy an EM but I don't have any other information. The obit is on the Obituary page.

There is a Facebook page USS Von Steuben (SSBN 632) Alumni that is useful in getting in touch with VS members. It is not associated with the Reunion Committee.
